➢ 影片是否希望有助於解決社會問題,幫助弱勢群體?


我們在IFG單元尋求的影片方向是「有助於提高社會正義,解決不平等或歧視現象;為老年人、殘障人士、女性平權、弱勢族群提供幫助;提升社會對教育、醫療、環境或其他議題的意識」的接近完成階段的影片。

CNEX尋求具備社會影響力的紀錄片,參加「 INVESTING FOR GOOD @ CCDF」,如果你的影片符合上面的標準,歡迎你加入我們!入選的影片將參加7-9月的培訓工作坊,和我們邀請的講師交流影片故事、剪輯諮詢和推廣計劃等,並於9月提案,向邀請的投資人、慈善家、企業、基金會、NGO、電視台、播出平台等代表做進一步的介紹, 探討各種可能促成影片資金支持,以及後續推動社會進步所需的跨界合作方式

❐ 「 INVESTING FOR GOOD @ CCDF」可以帶來什麼?

  • 為紀錄片工作者與基金會、NGO、企業社會責任與品牌、廣告機構、慈善家、網路科技夥伴甚至政策制定者建立合作平台,打造新的夥伴關係,包含資金、專業顧問、新的發行途徑、社會行動結盟等創新方式

  • 通過合作提高大眾對於社會及環境議題的意識

  • 進而造成大眾/組織的態度及行為的改變,甚至影響政策制定

  • 提高紀錄片夥伴組織的影響力、行動力

 

❐ 提案要求

  1. 主題:
    •  有助於提高社會正義,解決不平等或歧視現象;
    •  關注老年人、殘障人士、女性、弱勢族群;
    •  提升教育、醫療、環境或其他議題的意識

  2. 製作階段:已經有粗剪版本的影片。已經公開發表之作品不得報名。片長不限,徵求各種形式的創作,無論是系列紀錄片、紀錄短片、紀錄長片或者VR類型的紀錄片提案都歡迎投遞。

  3. 提案者須年滿18歲,以華人紀錄片工作者優先。

  4. 入選「影響力投資 好故事徵件 INVESTING FOR GOOD @ CCDF」之紀錄片提案者必須全程參加下列活動,提案者中須至少有一位為導演或製片;若製片與導演皆無法全程出席,將喪失入選資格。
    1) 培訓工作坊:2023.7–9月
    2) 國際提案大會:2023年9月20日-26日

  5. 提案會全程以英語為主要語言,提案者具流利英文能力為佳,主辦單位亦會安排同步翻譯協助提案。上台提案者必須是導演或製片人(至多2人),每組將有15分鐘的提案時間,包含7分鐘提案(含片花播放時間)與8分鐘的問答。

  6. 入選之提案,需於成片片尾名單及其他合適的宣傳素材放置IFG及CCDF官方LOGO。 

 

❐  報名方式

  1. 請於2023年5月15日23:59(GMT+8)前於報名網站https://enroll.cnexdoc.com/ 完整填寫線上報名表,完成線上報名。

  2. 上傳粗剪影片及提案片花(3-5分鐘)至Vimeo、Google Drive或是百度網盤;未上傳或片花長度不符合者視為資格不符。
    *上傳至Vimeo、Google Drive或是百度網盤請將影片設為可下載,並提供密碼
    *影片檔案僅供初審會議使用

  3. 於報名網站上傳劇照及企劃書,未上傳者視為資格不符。企畫書須包含下列項目,總字數不得超過5000字。(企劃書範本請按此下載)
    a. 緣起與宗旨
    b. 影片型態與特色
    c. 目標觀眾
    d. 故事大綱
    e. 拍攝大綱(物件、人物、場景與事件簡介)
    f. 進度表
    g. 詳細製作預算
    h. 工作人員/團隊介紹
    i. 補充資料 (如相關調查、新聞資料、被拍攝物件圖片等)

❐ 入選與獎項

  • 入選提案:入選者將可免費參加培訓工作坊與提案大會活動,讓影片所拍攝的議題受到華人社會,甚至全球影響力創造之團體更廣泛的關注,有機會利用紀錄片來促進社會慈善公益的推廣。出席活動所衍生之旅費與住宿費用,將由主辦單位部分補助,必要時可協助辦理簽證事宜。補助辦法細則與金額上限,將另行通知入選者。

  • 培訓工作坊:入選提案將可參加7月-9月舉辦之「培訓工作坊」。工作坊課程包含影片製作、影響力創造、議題擴散及專業提案技巧等方面,由主辦單位延攬之國際專業講師與入選提案人交流。

  • 提案大會獎項:「IFG 最具影響力潛力獎」獎項包含獎金,獲獎者須依照法規繳納稅金。獲獎者同意與主辦單位共同製作一支5-10分鐘短片,供後續影響力推廣相關慈善公益活動使用,擴大議題觸及範圍,強化紀錄片影響力效益。

INVESTING FOR GOOD-3  Regulation

*Do you have a film project that will have impact society for good?

*Does it address a social problem? Will it help a disadvantaged group?

*Does it contribute to social justice, address inequality or discrimination?

*Will it assist the aged, the mentally impaired, or the physically handicapped?

*Does it offer education or medical or environmental information to the community?

 

CNEX is seeking timely films of interest to Chinese-speaking audiences at rough-cut stage or later to compete for additional training, consultation, advice re completion funding and campaign assistance to maximize the impact of the film.

❐ How will INVESTING FOR GOOD help?

The training offered from July to September will include editorial consultation, professional mentorship, and social media campaign planning. Successful applicants will pitch to a group of specially selected investors, broadcasters, foundations, and companies whose mandates include social benefits in September 2023. 

❐ ELIGIBILITY

  1. THEME
    • To help promote social justice and address inequality or discrimination
    • Focuses on the elderly, disabled, women, and disadvantaged groups
    • Raise awareness of education, healthcare, environmental or other issues

  2. PRODUCTION STAGE
    Projects in post-production that already has a rough cut. Works that have been screened publicly will not be accepted. Projects can be documentary shorts, documentary features, documentary series, and immersive documentaries. 

  3. AGE & NATIONALITY
    Applicant must be at least 18 years old; preference is given to documentary filmmakers of Chinese descent

  4. ATTENDANCE
    Applicant must be in a key creative role, i.e. producer or director;  selected applicants are required to attend the entire program including Training Workshop and Pitching Forum. If unable to attend, the project will be disqualified.

  5. English is the main language used at the Forum. Chinese-English simultaneous translation will be provided during all pitching sessions; strong command of English is preferred.

  6. Either director and/or producer can represent the project at the Forum(maximum 2 reps)Each project will have 15 minutes to pitch, including 7 min for introducing, and 8 min for Q&A.

  7. All selected films are required to include IFG and CCDF logos in the end credits.

  4. Format and submission details:
    1) Proposal
    Please download the proposal template at ▶︎url
    Please feel free to include any information that you deem important for your project. Below is the suggested outline:- Motivation
    – Target audience
    – Logline (150 words limited )
    – Synopsis ( 450 words limited )
    – Treatment ( 1500 words limited )
    – Production schedule
    – Budget
    – Crew or key production roles (400 words per role)
    – Additional materials, ex. research report, archive, etc.
    2) The trailer should be 3 – 5 minutes long. Please upload the footage to Vimeo, Google Drive, Baidu or any other online space available to you.
    *Please set the trailer as downloadable and provide a download password upon registration.
    *Trailers are just for evaluation purposes, they will not be accessible to the general public.

❐ SELECTION AND AWARDS

  1. Finalists will attend the Training Workshop and Pitching Forum. Organizer may subsidize participants’ travel and accommodation expenses, as well as assist in obtaining visas. Details of subsidies will be discussed separately with participants at later date.

  2. Training Workshop: Selected projects can be automatically entered to participate in the IFG training workshop which will take place from July to September. Participants can have meetings with professional lecturers to enhance storytelling skills, pitching, and social media campaign planning.

  3. Awards:  “Best Impact Potential Prize” is a cash prize that is taxable by law. The recipient must agree to jointly produce a 5-10 minute version with the organizer for use in subsequent impact related charity activities to raise awareness of the issues.
